REFUND POLICY

I. When the CCC cancels a class, workshop, or event: The Community Creative Center (“CCC”) may cancel classes or workshops: A). when enrollment minimums are not met; B). as health and safety concerns dictate; or, C). for unforeseen events beyond the CCC’s control. If the CCC cancels a class, students can choose either a full refund of class fees, or a full credit to be used toward another CCC class or product.

II. When a Student Cannot Attend a Class, or Workshop (other than summer camp, birthday parties or special events–see below): The responsibility to attend scheduled classes and workshops rests exclusively with students; the CCC will not be held responsible if a student cannot attend a class or workshop. Fees are non-refundable. In the event of extenuating circumstances, hardship or emergency–as defined by the CCC and at the sole discretion of the CCC–a refund may be offered. In the event of an emergency, hardship, or other extenuating circumstance, the student shall notify the CCC staff in writing that they: A). are not able to attend the class or workshop; or B). wish to drop the class or workshop. Failure to provide notice within 24 hours of the scheduled class or workshop will result in automatic forfeiture of fees. Staff will assist students who wish to file a Letter of Hardship/ Refund Request, if applicable, after initial written notice is received. After proper notice is received, students will be informed of the CCC’s decision by phone or email within 5 business days. In the event the CCC decides to issue a full or partial refund of any fees, a 3.5% cancellation processing fee will be applied.

III. Classes cancelled for inclement weather: Classes cancelled for inclement weather: Classes cancelled by the CCC due to inclement weather will be rescheduled when possible, or if rescheduling is not possible, the CCC will offer students a prorated credit to be used toward another CCC class, workshop, or product. Refunds will not be offered.

IV. Birthday Parties and Special Events Cancellation: Deposits for Birthday Parties and Special Events are non-refundable. Additional Fees: Parties and events canceled more than 2 weeks prior to the event will incur no additional fees. Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the event will incur an additional $25 charge, and cancellations made within 48 hours of the event time will be charged 50% of rate to cover supplies, instructor fees and room preparation. Failure to pay said fees will result in the party being blocked from engaging in future events at the CCC.

V. Summer Camp Cancellation and Refund Policy: Summer Camp fees and tuition will be refunded if written notice of cancellation is submitted by the parent at least 10 business days prior to the camp start date; a 3.5% cancellation processing fee will apply. Written cancellations made less than 10 business days and up to 24 business hours prior to start of camp are eligible for a 50% refund. Refund requests made within 24 business hours of the start date are not eligible for refund; no refunds will be issued after camp begins, and no prorated refunds will be given for students who miss days or do not attend the full camp, subject to the provisions of section II above.

VI. Pandemic Related Cancellations: If a student has been exposed to or displays symptoms of COVID-19 or Variants, the CCC respectfully requests that the student not attend class. Students should contact our front desk immediately, and we will assist you in rescheduling your class or submitting a Letter of Hardship/ Refund Request. A 3.5% processing fee will be charged for all refunds, regardless of reason. Refunds for classes may be prorated if sickness or exposure occurs during a 6-week session. Should an entire class cancel due to student illness, the instructor will be paid on a prorated basis according to the number of classes completed. In the event of instructor illness or CCC closure, students will be offered a prorated refund or credit.
