Open Studio

At Community Creative Center, our mission is to awaken the extraordinary power of art to engage individuals and the community through accessible arts education. We are happy to provide access to our ceramic studio space for community members who have experience in working with clay and do not need the direct instruction as found in our session classes.

The Open Studio Membership program mission is to provide a space for artisans to develop their practice in a self-disciplined manner as a continuation beyond community classes.

Included in Open Studio Membership:

  • Up to 56 hours, 7 days a week of studio access
  • Regular kiln firing schedule
  • Studio orientation, support and communication from CCC studio staff
  • Storage space (based on membership plan)
  • Access to wheels, tools, studio glazes, and free demonstrations

Open Studio membership will be extended upon a review of a brief application of experience and images of work. We ask that applicants have participated in at least three pottery wheel or ceramics classes (or recommendation of the instructor) or have had similar studio experience elsewhere.  Beginning members are asked to make a three-month commitment to join the studio as demand is high and space is limited. Boxed and recycled clay is available for a donation to CCC or members may bring purchased clay and glazes pending approval from the studio technicians.

To apply for Community Creative Center Open Studio Membership, please submit the application form below.  To learn more, contact  or call 479.571.2706.
