Comics- storytelling and development
A class for cartoonists of all experience levels and styles focusing on finding ideas and getting them onto the page in a completed form. Using a mix of lectures and one on one consultations the class aims to build the students comfort level with idea generation, story structure, and page layouts. Suitable for new or existing comics projects.
Michael Sweater is a professional cartoonist and writer who has worked for a variety of clients like Cartoon Network, Vice, Silver Sprocket, and Oni Press. His main focus is on writing and creating his own stories influenced by 90’s television. He started drawing at 21 and currently does not have any plans to stop.
- Masks will be required while in the building.
- Class requires a minimum of 4 registered participants to run.
