Pottery Wheel 1 & 2 Combined
Dig deeper into wheel throwing as Instructors guide you towards making pottery that you can use everyday! Building upon basic skills, students continue to explore wheel throwing techniques including taller cylinders, pulling handles, refining rims and trimming. Students are encouraged to explore cup and bowl forms. Students will be introduced to basic glazing techniques. Students who have the basics down will begin to develop their skills towards more refined forms.
Instructor:
Marriah Geels
Marriah is a graduate at the University of Arkansas pursuing with a BFA Art Education and BA Music. Her studio concentrations are painting and ceramics. While studying at the University of Arkansas, she has been in several Theatre productions, is a member of the Schola Cantorum choir, and is an active member in the Association of Ceramic Enthusiasts and the Association of Art Educators. Marriah is passionate about all artistic mediums and hopes to spark that passion in future artists and students. She has recently shown artwork at The PH Gallery and the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks.

- Masks are not required, but are available in studios and front desk.
