Watercolor Painting 2
This class is a continuation of our popular Watercolor 1 class, featuring new exercises and demos that focus on value, pattern, and color. Choose to work on your own compositions or paint from subjects and references provided by the instructor. Once again, we’ll explore different watercolor painting techniques such as wet on wet, and wet on dry with different brushes and papers. This class is ideal for students who have taken a previous class and wish to practice their developing skills as well as tackle some new challenges. However, there is not a prerequisite and everyone is welcome!
Amy Littleton Field
I am a California-born Arkansan living, working and painting in Fayetteville, AR. While my larger works and my line of birds are done in oils, I also paint in small watercolors, acrylics and mixed media. I am working on a line of copyrighted “Snark Cards” that will be available from my website soon. They focus on the sarcastic side of life; the kind of dark humor that has kept me going through some really tough years including a diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma and the collapse of what I thought was a fantastic marriage. Though my cancer is incurable and my heart remains broken, I continue to paint to heal my soul. I hope it also blesses others.
- Masks will be required while in the building.
