Las Posadas Festival Images

Las Posadas – December 10th, 2022

Las Posadas are widely celebrated in Mexico and by Mexican communities across the United States. They feature food, drinks, sweets, music, and piñatas.

Attendees will make poinsettias ornaments out of clay, enjoy the traditional Chocolate Abuelita drink,  and taste Mexican pastries. The event will end by breaking the colorful star-shaped piñata and viewing a performance by Aztec Dancers.

Holiday Market – December 3rd – 17th, 2022

The CCC Annual Holiday Market brings area artists together to sell their arts and crafts for the Christmas Holiday season, and offering their arts and crafts to the public. For 2021, the CCC Holiday Market was sponsored by Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits.

The CCC Holiday Market opens Saturday, December 3rd, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, through Saturday, December 17th. December 3rd is the Open House, where drinks and snacks will be available for all. Bring your Holiday Gift List, because you won’t want to miss the opportunity to get something amazing for a loved one.

Arkansas Pottery Festival – May 5th, 6th, & 7th, 2023

This exciting 3 day weekend will include Pottery Demonstrations and Lecture by nationally recognized artist Bill Jones on Friday and Saturday, an exhibition and pottery sale of over 50 potters from around the State, an exhibition of Master Works from Private Ceramics Collections. A closing lecture will be given by Lawrence McElroy detailing historic pottery production in Northwest Arkansas, followed by a cookout and potluck Saturday Night. Vendor booths will include the Clay Bank, and Dickson Street Bookstore. We are also partnering with the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks for a Flower Pot and Plant Sale Fundraiser, with a wide selection of affordable handmade planters and locally grown plants. Buy a Planter, get a free Plant for a great Mother’s Day Gift! Concurrent events will include the UARK Ceramics Student Sale and Exhibition, and tours of the Historic Cane Hill Museum.
